"I don't want help," he frowned at her. "I can do it myself. You'll mess it up." She would! He had a specific thing in mind for his tower and nobody would mess it up, even Maria! And he never trusted that look in her eye.
He resigned himself to this snack break with her and picked up the napping kitten. "If I'm going to go have snacks with her, you need to too," he told his pet.
