Hi?

I've always been a horrible slacker when it comes to these journals, but geez, I can't even count these past months since I've last written. Training and part-time training these latest batch of protégés is really taking up my schedule.

Anyway. Anyone wants to come over and catch up? You know, to reassure me that I'm not quite the social pariah that I think I am? Lately the only living things I see are Ver, my canary and my parents. Oh, and that Derek Dobbs fellow. He keeps following me about, I don't know what's up with that.

	I don't believe you can, actually. I think he'd go easy on you since there's probably no way he could hit a girl in good faith. You know, because his mother raised him so well and all. 	I wouldn't get too cocky if I were you, Meadowes! You have to factor in busy schedules, job hazards, and general unforeseen conflicts, you know.
