*When Stars seems willing to trust Maru a little, Maru will shift closer, joining the huddle so he and Stars can wstch each other - and TC - that little bit better. Come morning, TC is largely left alone while his companions are bound and gagged. They're dragged off to the market and...TC's somewhat rested, so he's not raging and disconsolate...but he's still severely depressed. He smudges out "drone" from Maru as best he can, but he can't get the bindings or the gags off...so it's up to him to sell them. And...he does try, he /does/ - making himself talk to people when all he wants is to curl up in the corner and shut everything out, answering questions, telling people not to take his word but ask the slaver for their files as proof of who he's claiming he and Stsrs are, even trying to sell Maru on his own points and not /just/ an extraneous item lumped with him and Stars (Stars will learn a lot about Maru that way as well as through the bond) - but...his spark's not really in it like it should be. There's no real passion there*

Wing: *he'd come back here with Evac to see if he could learn who owned TC and Maru. He got Maru's ping, but couldn't reach the bot in time. He figures the mech was captured and returned to his master. He's just passing through, and nearly doesn't notice them, but TC's voice /does/ catch his attention and he approaches. He recognizes Maru, and is pretty sure the stripped mech who's not muzzled is TC.*

TC: *spots Wing first, voice /hitching/ as he's talking to whoever he's talking to currently, and then he's…trying to talk to them /and/ not be noticed at the same time (he's not fully conscious of this, just…reacting) – Stars will feel a sudden wash of fear, anger, resentment, SHAME, and a host of other things he won't fully be able to identify*

Maru: ….?? *looks around to try to determine who/what got TC to react like that, spots Wing, optics /brighten/ and then he's /kicking/ at the bars of the cage, making noise for attention, making sure Wing /is/ coming HERE and not just walking this general direction, there /are/ a lot of distractions around after all*

	TC: /limps/ to the transport, collapsing into it and pulling himself back into a corner to curl up Maru: stumbles a bit, his legs not wanting to work right, but he manages to get Stars to the transport with Wing's help, get the Seeker into the back, and crawl in after him (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Wing: *pushes the box into the back. They're in the bed of a truck basically* Lie down, try to get some recharge, we're a couple joors from my home. *and it's already late*
Stars: ......*scoots his aft out of the corner and flops back with a stifled moan...and then is mentally poki g at TC to come cuddle even as he mentally wraps around Warp to comfort and support him.*

We're a couple joors from my home. *and it's already late – he'd take them back to Evac's but Evac got a house call earlier this evening, it's for an old client of his, one of the few he'll travel a great distance to continue to serve . . . it's actually closer from there for Evac to meet them at Wing's place after*

TC: ………………… *takes him a moment, but he does finally shift over to curl up with Stars, also…/finally/…reaching out to their third through the bond*
Warp: *is…d-doing a /little/ better now that at least his wingmates are safe(r) instead of their distress compounding his own . . . he shudders and quiets, pulling into himself and CLINGING to his wingmates*
Maru: *studies them, half-wanting to join them, finally settles himself to get some downtime too*

	Stars: one ruby optic studies Maru over TC's shoulder...and he'll give a small inviting wave, aware that he's been sleeping cuddled with TC for some time now. No one to watch for now, so they can all rest. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The transport coming to a stop and going quiet will probably wake all of them. Wing will come around to help them out, admonishing Maru not to push his body and damage it more Pips: /trills/ at the sight of TC and looks conflicted, should she hug him or not?! Evac: also just pulling up. He'll scramble out to come help move the Seekers inside. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Maru: *wry, somewhat pained grin* No running off on another covert operation again just yet. Got it. *grimaces as he moves, forcing himself without doing himself more damage, gives Pips an apologetic grin* Sorry for not coming back sooner.
TC: *won't say anything, though he'll mentally reassure Stars regarding the medic if he seems to need it, otherwise just…goes with things*

Wing: *will get TC in and settled on a berth.*
Evac: *will check them all over to determine who's worse off. He'll clamp some leaks in Maru and TC and will star working on Stars. He'll get the worst patched up on Stars, than TC, then Maru...and then he need sleep. He'll finish all of them in the morning.*
Wing: *will take them to the room Maru slept in before. Pushed the two berths together will make a berth plenty big enough for all of them with room to spare (hopefully for adding Warp later).*

*Maru is verbally thankful, helping however he can but otherwise just letting the medic do his job. TC offers no resistance this time…but doesn't say a word either, not unless directly asked a question. He'll climb onto the berth, half hoping his spark will just…somehow give out peacefully in the night while they're all unconscious. Other than that, his mind and spark are pretty silent, mostly numb*

Evac: *will work on them through much of the next day. It's afternoon when he finally finishes with them.*
Wing: *will come sit in the room with them while Evac steps out to get fuel* We should talk....
Stars: *frowns* Of course, master. *frown turns to a smile, both grin and tone oily sweet* what can your slaves do for you. *gives Wing a deep, mocking bow. He's done this with all his new masters. Some beat him for it, some are unsettled by it and he finds with those he can get away with a bit more, the later are few and far between.*

Stars: *glances at TC, then back at Wing.*
Wing: There are a few things that need to happen. *if Stars upset or offended him, he doesn't show it*
Stars: *stiffens* Oh? And what would those be?
Wing: First, the three of your are going to drink at least two full cubes of energon or until your tanks are full. If your tanks aren't full after two you'll have more until they are.
Stars: *wary* And then what...?
Wing: Then you're going to go flying. If I see you here again before tomorrow night, then you've not been in the sky long enough.
