They're not too smart, but they're hard to see, even with my scanners, they're conpletely silent, and they're persistant. They are slow, though, so that helps, and they're...more like spirits than we are, so weapons don't work on them. We won't come across them for a while yet. First we'll cross the desert, then the river....it feels more like an ocean, after that the swamps, then The Pass through the mountains, and then we reach the hall of trials. Beyond that is the Guardians, and finally the Breach.
