*Terris will wake to the soft sounds of weeping. If he sits up and looks, he'll see it's.../all/ of them. Some are just breathing heavier with tears running down their faces, others are outright crying in their sleep. DB is wrapped over Dmps. SM is CLINGING to Kage, with the additional memories of grief at losing his brother.../twice/. Deckard is curled up in a tight ball /sobbing/ inconsolably.*

Kage: *has /wrapped/ around his brother, a tangle of limbs locked together, a wing drapped protectively over him. He's awake, and just /holding/ his brother*

Terris: *sits up and looks down the line of them. Those crying hardest have comfort in someone nearby....except for Deckard. He gently draws the boy to him, cuddling him close, stroking his head*

Deckard: *shudders, quieting a bit in reaction to being moved, is /tense/ and braced as he's held...but slowly relaxes, tucking a bit as he gives way again to sobs*

Terris: *snuggles and loves on him, softly murmuring to him that he's safe now.*

Deckard: ….Y-yuu-t-ta… *sobs harder, clinging…a-and finally wakes himself up . . . and /struggles/ out of the grip holding him!*

Terris: *his smile and body language will hopefully put them at ease. Once they're all settled and have their food (plus an extra little treat, a piece of candy!) he'll start* I have been thinking. Birthdays are very special, but where you came from, and where you are now, have very different years, so figuring out when your birthdays are is not so simple. So I have decided that we will take the next two weeks to celebrate, a day for each of you. That would mean, today, as Deckard was the first among you, would be his birthday. *looks around at each of them to see what they think of that.*

	DB: What's a birthday? Dmps: That's the anniversary of the date a human is born. Deckard: to Terris We weren't born. I guess there's the day each of us was completed… McC: small grin, remembering the party they'd had (and resolutely NOT remembering what had interrupted it) Or in your case, the day you and Boss first met.
