Kay. Since AUs run in the BDSM prone vein of OC building, this is where questions / comments / tl;dr about all and any of Sas'ke's stuuuuuuuuuuuuff goes. Can haz questions / answers / memes / bloody bullet lists - you can ask stuff, I can fumble awkwardly in the dark until you forget about it. 1. sad to say, Shikamaru's like the cheap summer flick you afterward recall as one of the few highlights of an exceptionally dull summer. He's a distraction - an entertaining one, but ultimately not a... rival (congrats, Shika, you're mirroring your canon delay technique =o= )

When Sasuke takes him truly, deeply, viciously seriously, you'll know he's done so because there'll be less talking and more doing. It's not as if he doesn't realize that dropping hints every-ruddy-where isn't supah effective, but this is his. Well. His having fun. -_- v

2. roflmao there never was a cat. He texted Ino that he was calling off their shoot ( . . . a g a i n . . . ) because his friend's brother's girlfriend's cat died, so he was too bereaved to make it. He just carried the excuse over in a post to rub it in, like a shameless skank.

3. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T READ MY TL;DR APP. Actually, I paid a certain homage to the Sharingan by incorporating an eye condition - he's got a v. low level of melanin in his eye pigment, which gives it a particularly reddish hue. It's also messed up his vision, to such a point that he's received medical warning that further consistent exposure to a dark room (and especially its chemicals ) + exceeding eye strain can and likely will lead to blindness. He wears coloured contacts to correct his sight (they're not as efficient as they could be - iirc, contacts that add colour are slightly less competent than classical medical ones). He doesn't enjoy the circumstance, but is frequently fascinated by other creatures with red eyes, and with pictures suffering from the red-eye syndrome. He sometimes spends a couple of long minutes just examining his pupils in the mirror.

"Sharingan" ability-wise, he's also got a pretty decent photographic memory, so he's thorough observation ones. Have yet to figure out how to adapt the technique emulation, but I'm figurin' something's gonna come up.
