TIMOTHY SHI
Born in a litter of sextuplets, Timothy was the last to be born. He was also the tiniest, thus his parent’s aptly named him Timothy. Being the youngest and the runt of the group meant Tim was aptly fussed over, concerned he would not be able to handle some of the more intensive activities. Even though he knew it was just the fact that his parents loved him so much, but he didn’t enjoy the special treatment knowing it was because of conditions he could not control. It was exciting when his parents sat them down and announced a new baby was along the way. For 2 grand months, the household was so focused on preparing that Tim was free to wrestle around in the dirt with Tabitha without worry.
Then, his petty problems didn’t seem so important when Daniel and Mary came to stay with them. News followed that their mother was in the hospital and his father wrecked with grief, it was the first time he knew what it was like to feel ashamed. His parents did not give him special treatment; they simply loved him like they loved those babies. His preference of jumping off high ledges and skinning his knees was why they were so concerned. That night the sextuplets made a pact: they would be on their best behavior for the sake of their parents. It was time for them to take care of their mother.
When Vivian came home Timothy restricted himself from playing rambunctiously, rushing home from school to keep an eye on his mother. Strong willed Tim managed to resist the urge to roll down the street in a tire or climb on top of the roof until Vivian was back on her feet again. Imagination wild with outrageous ideas, his mind got even more creative when his dreams started coming true. It was a double-edged sword when Blaise and Isabel recounted a nightmare come to life. The genie they had dreamed up became increasingly hard to control and pushed the limit when their friend was killed. Seeing as their mother was still getting back on her feet, Tim agreed with the others to handle it on their own. Together, they managed to overcome their fears and suppress the genie. Needless to say, their little adventure ruined Aladdin for him.
