He blurs into motion. While its technically little more than vibration, unable to slide in and out by more than an inch or so with the position, he can do that - and vibrate plenty. He can keep the friction down so he doesn't burn her, just letting her feel the motion as he puts her on a super-speed ride, holding onto his reins throughout.
