Well...it's not your fault, is it? I mean...if she hates you for it, ~~she's a bloody awful friend~~ she's getting wrought up at the wrong person. Dumbledore wanted someone who's got a level head and is dedicated to the school and you've been a bloody brill student and prefect.

And, I mean...she's been through a lot with--

If she's worried over a ~~stupid~~ badge, then she doesn't have her mind sorted out properly.

I know I know I know I've been telling myself that and it's why I haven't been really you know vocal about things but like when---everything happened, she sent me an owl asking me to visit her in Hogsmeade and I mean I couldn't anyway because I was grounded (was, the badge kind of helped lift that haaa) but I mean I didn't even respond because I was so scared and I mean she probably already thinks I hate her and ~~rgjNDGJKSDGNSM~~ I don't know what to say!

Just tell her you were grounded, then! We all knew that you were, so she can't hold that against you. Tell her your Dad took away your wand or something if she still wants to be upset at you.

Just--don't worry about what to say. If she wants to talk about this whole head girl business, then she'll bring it up. And if she doesn't, then it's not a big deal and so you shouldn't worry about it!
