OFFICIAL HOGWARTS ANNOUNCEMENT!
Please read this post! Even if you aren't a student! :)

WHO: Hogwarts Students fourth year and up, and the rest of the wizarding population! No blood status checks necessary. Identification cards must be on hand, however! WHAT: A charity ball to benefit the Halfblood and Muggleborn Job Reparations Fund, set up by the Ministry of Magic WHERE: The Great Hall of Hogwarts WHEN: Friday, October 31st, 1979, 8 o'clock PM RSVP: October 24th, 1979 ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ ◊ Wands will be confiscated at the door and will be protected by a Hogwarts Professor. Hitwizards will be on patrol during the night. Tickets go on sale October 1st! 5 galleons for non-Hogwarts students. Hogwart students must be fourth year and above! No ticket purchase necessary! Formal wear, a mask will be provided if needed.

AND FOR HOGWARTS STUDENTS! This is not the only Halloween event Hogwarts will be conducting! The evening of the 30th will be dedicated to The Hallowed Halls of Hogwarts! The entire castle will be transformed into a haunted palace of ghost stories (literally! The Hogwarts Ghosts will be telling spooky stories in the Library!), devilishly delicious delights (in the Great Hall!), and creepy common rooms designed by....

YOU! The students of Hogwarts! Each House will be participating in a Scariest Common Room contest that will bring inner-house unity along with inter-house unity as students from other Houses will be touring the common rooms to vote for whose was the most creative and chilling common rooms! The winner of the voting gets fifty points in the House Cup!
