The first casino he entered out of curiosity, he nearly got thrown out for suspected cheating. The first hour he was in there, he watched, trying his hand at the card games and the wrist movements of the dice throwers. By the second hour, he had won several thousand dollars and by the third he was sitting in the manager's office being threatened twith arrest for cheating. With a certain smugness only held by those who truly know they are impressive, he explained how he'd won the money and also pointed out who really was cheating, the nervous under aged in the club, and the man with his arm around his affair. Their fingers held cards in their sleeves. Their eyes twittered around the club hoping no one noticed them. Their rings were different models and metals. With the man staring at him in awe, he asked for a job as a dealer and allowance to play his game without being bothered. It was not his fault he knew how to count cards and watch people's reactions to their hand, nor was it his problem if people were too foolish to give up when they clearly couldn't win against him.

He worked at the casinos for years before he grew tired of it and during that time learned more tricks, more tics, and how much he really couldn't stand human beings. They were liars, cheats, arrogant, smelly, and thought way too highly of themselves. He knew himself to have all these faults save perhaps the smelly part. He was however, much better at covering the others up and had good reason to think highly of himself. After he had learned every trick he could dealing the cards, and had stashed away in his apartment more money then he knew what to do with from his work as well as his winnings from other casinos, he left the gambling world and mused over another area of work. Besides, they were talking about putting him in tournaments where he would appear on TV. That simply would never happen. For many reasons as well as his secrecy.

He had worked with the underdogs, the rich and the desperate. His curiosity towards humans and his love for pulling their strings to his convenience made him look for things in the background. A place he could observe without having to deal with the public much. His eyes landed on a certain industry that made him cringe at the very thought of some of the work there, but of course there were always jobs where he didn't have to deal with those people much but could still know everything about them. When he went to Madara's office, he informed him of his gifts of observation and while he didn't doubt Madara's control over the company, Sasori could see fit that there would never be a penny out of place from sticky fingered employees. And if you've done something, Sasori will find out. And he will tattle.

Unless of course you want to be his slave until he let you be free.

Good luck.

Personality, Likes & Dislikes:
Have you ever wondered what a doll would say if it could talk? Would it be arrogant because it was carved to perfection and its face wouldn't give away any of its expressions unless it wanted to? A look at Sasori would tell you yes. They would be arrogant. They would inform you how irritating you are, how foolish you are, how the way you talk and the tics you have are the dumbest things in the world. Watching human interactions and behavior made Sasori work many years to perfect the art of constant doll like stoicism. He didn't want to look as foolish as they did when they made their expressions, being emotionally anonymous when speaking - so calm that no one can tell what you're truly thinking, was a leverage that many people didn't have. It made people uncomfortable. And uncomfortable made people weak.

And Sasori so enjoys exploiting that weakness.

Getting on his good side is something that you must work hard at. He respects those in power who manage themselves without others. Someone who is not foolish and is not worried about conforming to the molds of society. If you see him smile... well you should be worried. Because Sasori will not smile unless it is to get you to do something. He isn't used to smiling though, it's an expression he's watched and mimics according to which muscles he supposed a person used but there was always a slight hint of wrongness about his smile. It never reached his eyes, those stayed blank and cold unless they were flashing in irritation. However, if you know you are miserable and will never be respected by Sasori, the fastest way to get him to do you a favor would be possibly the simplest thing ever. Give him something tasty: a snack, a cup of coffee, a juicy piece of information.

If there's a way to do something without working or paying for it Sasori will do it. He feels he is an advanced subset of human with his own rules. Those who weren't smart enough to figure out how to get around the system should be doomed to live in it. Sasori ignored the system. He knew the tricks of the hand, how to hold his eyes and draw his opponent's away from his hands. No vending machines stood a chance against the redhead.

Sasori still enjoys the occasional card game. When he gets bored enough, he'll invite random strangers, or even children, to play a game of cards with him. He'll play for big bills - or plastic barrettes, candy and change (he has no preference of payment because it depends on the person he's playing against), but if you work with him you'll have to ask because he wont even think to ask a coworker.

Many of the returning clients know Sasori now, since he's been there a few years. They know he'll stay behind the counter and not burn holes into their brains with his eyes and even if he's rather rude and creepy, he will be helpful in whatever information you need. Some of the newer ones... Well, let's just say they learn fast not to talk to him.

Want to scare Sasori? Don't even bother. Being afraid of something is a weakness of the human mind and he refuses to be a part of that... Unless, of course... you're a million year old dinosaur woman who wants to give her grandson a good dose of lectures and lovings.

First Person
Let it be known, that just because I am sitting at the front desk, does not mean that I am the first person who will bring that 'special happy moment' to you. I require this sign on my desk, but I am not certain it will be appreciated. Perhaps in the ads? It is growing rather old.

Management should be aware that the employees working in the cafe have no idea how to make a decent cup of coffee. You will be pleased that I have instructed them in the correct methods of coffee making. However when I went to get my second cup the number of people behind the counter has diminished slightly. Strange.

Recently my home has been infested with a creature that I would very much like to be taken off my hands. It is small. And ...fuzzy. And quite fond of the fish I had made last night for dinner. I am not sure how it keeps getting into my house, but it seems to be well versed in the nature of humans and knew to wait until I had my back turned to knock my fish onto the floor where I would not eat it. Obnoxious creature.

Third Person
The air was dry as it often was after a hot day. The sun was disappearing behind the buildings cooling the world with the slow arrival of night. Time for work to be over and for people to return to their homes until tomorrow. No one in their correct, logical mind would leave their house unless they had to. Given the current situation, Sasori laced himself in the 'had to' category. He was a solitary man and did not want the company of a breathing body in his home.

Last night he had checked every inch of his house for flaws in its construction. He had chosen this house among many others because of its lack of flaws, he had the irritated real estate agents to back up that statement, but even so. This house was flawlessly sound, but this creature was still getting in. The obnoxious, scrawny white beast had ransacked his bathroom with a noteworthy love of toilet paper and ate the food off his very plate. This he would not stand for and, holding it at arms length by the scruff of it's neck, he carried the kitten out through his front gate onto the street yet again and dropped it down on the sidewalk.

"Go away," he told it as it shook itself and turned to look up at him with large green eyes. Turning to go, he slammed his gate shut as his neighbor jogged by, slowed to a stop and took her earphones out.

"Hey, you got a cat," she said brightly, "That's good you need some company in that house, Sasori."

Sasori raised an eyebrow in confusion at her statement. Got a cat. What was she talking--....His grey brown eyes glanced down at his feet where he was being attacked by the kitten that had slipped through the gate to rub up against his legs. "I do not want this creature," Sasori informed her, his eyes moving back up to her, watching her take a step back from her wariness of his icy tone. "You may take it."

"I can't have a cat, sorry," she said, tucking her ear buds back in place and waved good bye to him to continue jogging away from him, leaving him alone with the creature that was slowly turning his black pants to white.

"...Do not follow me," he ordered the cat as he turned to stomp back into his house. "I do not want yo--Hey!" he cried as the kitten jumped after him and ran into the open door. Damn it. Maybe he could cook it to eat.

No, his neighbor saw him with it, he didn't want to get harassed by animal enthusiasts. If it wasn't gone by morning, he would take it to work and ask someone to take it off his hands.

Or force.

Force would work too. Probably more effective.

[holy fucking crap XD;]
