JSA ORIGINS: Zor-L
"Eros, my child," Aphrodite cooed, "You have but one choice."

"Mother, are you sure?"

"I am.  I shall speak with Zeus in your name, my child."

And so Eros waited on bated breathe as his mother requested to speak with Zeus, King of Olympus.  She returned the next day with a grim expression on her face, and Eros assumed the worst had happened.

"Mother?"

"I am sorry, my child."

"Does this mean I cannot?"

"It means that you can.  But to do so, you must relinquish all that you are."

"I...  Alright."

"Are you sure?"

"I am."

Aphrodite was still for a moment.  Her expression was not happy or sad; it was neutral.  It was wholly uncharacteristic of the Goddess of Love.  She could not be blamed, however.  She was, in fact, losing her son to the likes of a mortal woman.  Eros gave his mother one last embrace, and then allowed all that he was to be removed and re-shaped into a mortal shell on Earth.

A man entered into Karen Starr's office dressed in a classy blue suit. She gave him one look before digging her nose into his resume.

"Sinon Tavoularis?"

"Yes ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too. Now, it says here that you worked for Queen Industries and Wayne Industries as a computer programmer in their engineering divisions?"

"Yes. I helped develop advanced computer programs, although I can't go into detail. I promised not to reveal their secrets to the competition."

"Honest man."

"I try to be honest with everyone. Sometimes that helps me, and sometimes it doesn't. But it is the way I am."

"I see. Well, that's not a bad trait to have, Mr. Tavoularis."

"Please, call me Sinon, Ms. Starr."

She raised a brow.

"Alright then, Sinon."

The interview continued for another twenty minutes. Sinon arrived for his first day of work the next day.

It was unexpected for Karen. A few months down the road, Sinon asked her out on a date. She refused, of course. But then he asked her again the next week, and she couldn't say no for some reason or another.

He took her out to a pretty fancy restaurant. She didn't think he could have afforded it, but she enjoyed her time. They had a long conversation about some of the silliest things. She noticed how Sinon always kept his attention to her face, and was always interested and paying attention.

Needless to say, they started dating.

Almost a year later, Sinon proposed. Karen accepted, and the pair of them grew closer than ever. They were probably too close for comfort, because Karen became pregnant not two months after the proposal.

The wedding was the next month, so Karen still fit her dress. Atlee was her Maid of Honor. Sinon's best man was his best friend, James Porter. The flower girl was Atlee's daughter, Calypso. The ring bearer was Jame's Porter's son. Overall, it was a wonderful wedding.

Six months later, Karen Tavoularis gave birth to twins; Adara and Zandor Tavoularis.
