~~I don't like this I don't like this I don't like this at all----~~

I moved in last night. It's not bad, really. I definitely couldn't afford a flat like this by myself. It's kind of lonely--but my boss insisted that ~~if I didn't go I would be--~~ it would be easier to go now then later when we're busy with New Year stuff, and--yes.

DIRK CRESSWELL. You can't help the goblins if you wind up dead, either.

Can't you work as an independent liaison? Won't they be more receptive to you if they realize you're separate from the Ministry that's hounded/tortured/ruined them, and you want to mediate, rather than serve them with some sort of sneak attack and betrayal?

Are you allowed to leave now that you're in?

But then I don't get---I mean, I have to--survive and stuff and---you don't get paid at all and I mean--I don't do it for the money but the money is nice and it--I mean---there's retirement to think about and-- and yes! 	Get a second job! Something preferably run by people who don't threaten to fire you if you don't abide by the Ministry's idiotic guidelines. Make money, liaise with goblins... probably get no sleep, but you can sleep when you're dead, correct? ~~WHICH WILL BE SOON IF YOU DON'T GET~~ You know, I am about this close to trying to stage a break out. No one is going to hire a muggleborn whose skills involve Gobbledegook and goblin etiquette! I'm screwed! I'm totally screwed and I'm going to be poor and I won't be married by the time I'm twenty-four and that means I won't have kids by the time I'm twenty-six and that means I won't be able to move out to the country when I'm sixty and that means I'm going to be stuck in this house FOREVER. FOREVER, DIRK, I WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THEN STUCK IN THIS PLACE FOREVER EVEN THOUGH THE SINK IS SERIOUSLY VERY SHINY

Do something simple! You can learn a trade if you have to; there are other ways to make sure you get to stay alive and make money and save goblins!
