Coast City Detective in Gotham
Jess Byrd, Detective Byrd to most, is a Coast City detective on loan to Gotham City. She was powerless but a really smart woman. She knew her job inside and out. She was currently involved in a case involving a stolen antique necklace referred to as the Star Sapphire due to how the gems had been cut and set. It wasn't the kind of case she usually worked but it was connected to a string of homicides within the city.
She is combing over a crime scene after dark. Her heavy boots clunk on the ground as she moves about going over the details again.
She doesn't like the CSI guys in this town. They're not very flexible with how they think.
"Okay." She turns. "We missed a bullet."
Where'd it end up? Jess rubs her jaw thoughtfully feeling a tension headache starting to form. Missing something like that could make or break a case.
