Dex- Action-War
She had wanted to learn more about what it meant to be someone with part of Ion in her. That meant learning more about the Green Lanterns. She had decided that it wouldn't be so bad to let the Guardians pick someone out for her to team up with.

That someone was Dex. She wasn't quite sure how it had happened but they ended up in the middle of a war zone trying to find a Prince who would be able to put a stop to this madness.

And now they were dodging around gun fire and explosions while trying to find this kid.

"Oh for crying out loud," Jess grumbled as they had to duck and wait again as ships bombarded the city they were combing through. "Can't we do something about them, Dex?"

	She can see why they chose him for her 'partner'. He's decent at being a conventional Green Lantern. "I think I have a fix on his location.... He's trying to hide. I think it's the explosions. They'd scare anyone." She just hopes they don't get stuck in an inclosed space. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Thanks partner." Saying it like that was almost habit. She had always wanted to be a cop. So for her this is like a twisted version of a dream come true. Space cops are awesome. Space cops in a war zone.... less awesome. Also scary. She shoots off in the right direction dodging danger and following her gut along with the data she has. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It's probably easy to follow Jess. Her skin sometimes almost glows green. A few of the ships have had to leave due to damage Dex has done. Now Jess is avoiding ground troops because she doesn't want to engage in any real fighting. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dex kept the rockets firing at the ships, but he also threw up a construct of a large wall of green in front of Jess. It moved as she moved and knocked soldiers out of the way. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She has to flip over something and land. Before a soldier can react she has him knocked out with a well placed kick to the head. Then stops and listens. Then he smirks and smiles as a very small looking kid peers out at them. "Hey. Don't worry. I'm Jess. This is Green Lantern Dex. We're here to save ya, yer Highness." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Now that the ships were gone, this was more Dex's style. He dissolved the constructs and charged into the soldiers planning to take them on hand to hand. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"R-Really?" Jess shakes her head slightly. The Prince seemed rather nervous. "Let's just wait fer Dex to finish with that group, yer Highness. Then we can get you out of here." The young Prince can do not much else but smile nervously. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She chuckles as she takes the young Prince's hand. "Don't worry, yer safe with us, kiddo." The young teenager just blinks and nods letting his mandibles slide together. "I know, miss. You're a very honest person.... that Green Lantern seems er, enthusiastic." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
