I admit, if I wasn't running, you would have my vote.

Likewise. I'm impressed with your basketball skills as well!

We should play a game some time, complete with confetti at the end. ;)

No no, never. But I laughed at your comment because it sounds like something I've heard you would do onstage. Or would used to do. It's good to see you've cleaned up. I think we all do, we all go through some period where we test our limits and press our luck, feel invincible. I haven't always been the best person either but what matters is wanting to change and changing.

Love changes you for the better, absolutely, if it is the right person for you. But the sad thing about it is in politics most of the time people are nothing more than cards, pawns in a bigger game. You basically have to have a wife to have any credibility or standing. Unfortunately this also means several politicians wives are cheated on. When they don't care or leave, they are with the person for the money or for the attention that it brings them. You'd be surprised or at least disappointed in the number of marriages in office where it's more like a legal agreement between friends that she'll stay by his side and make him look good and he can do whatever he wants. She gets money, what does she care. And it's been that way for decades. And until having a wife and a family isn't important it will stay that way.

That's how marriage should be. Be proud you have that.
