Juliana,

I noticed you were reading Dostoevsky in the library yesterday ~~whilst wearing an increasingly short robe~~. I am surprised you are interested in him, to be honest, as I find him to be quite boring and dry. If you are interested, of course, I do have a few volumes I am certain you would find fascinating in my room… to which you are welcome to, day or night.

And while we are conversing, I couldn't help but notice how you seem to be picking up interest in the youngest Lestrange boy again—doesn't he seem rather incompatible with your own personality and temperament, Juliana? As your protective older brother, I feel it my duty to try and prevent you from suffering heartbreak. What you need, I feel, is someone who is aware of all aspects of your personality… someone who has seen both your good and bad, and continues to love you, no matter.

You know, perhaps you haven't given much thought to those people who have been in that position. In fact, I can think of only one who has seen you in all your extremes and has nothing for you but the strongest love. A silent bystander, if you will, and one who has suffered much in the way of watching conquests and consorts of yours come and go without being able to say a word. But no more—for this is a love that you must undoubtedly return. You wouldn't deny that there was something jolting in almost every touch, or that your gazes simply smoldered with private conversations, those of which are entirely unsuitable for anyone else's ears…

For if you did return that love, you would come to his room for a book, Juliana, but you would find much more.
