Oldie but goodie? :X
Sigh, that's my defense for all of these, but. I AM NEW TO THE BUSINESS OF CDJ? :[

Give me one of my characters and one of yours, and I'll tell you how they end up together and about their first-born-- even if they are unqualified to have children (doesn't die, not canon, etc). I'll even give a PB!

CRACK, AU, AND CANON GLADLY ACCEPTED.

CARADOC, RACHEL, AND MIRABELLE

a worker in the Ministry as a spy for the Death Eaters, persuaded a nervous but determined Seer cousin of Rachel's to pursue a position at Hogwarts as the Divination teacher because she proclaimed she could see the future of the war to anyone who seemed like they might take her seriously. Several skirmishes and fake-kidnappings and duels were also slowly arranged, and there was nothing that could have ruined their careful plotting.

Except for the fact that Caradoc was suddenly assigned to assassinate one of the members of the Order, and the fake Seer they'd sent to Dumbledore actually had an incredibly pertinent vision—which was overheard and relayed to Voldemort by one Severus Snape.

Although the two events seemed to have little to do with each other, they led to one critical mistake wherein Caradoc was outed as a traitor to the Death Eaters in February of '80, and was subsequently lured into a trap and kidnapped. Rachel was sent into a panic, because she had been keeping close tabs on Caradoc when he suddenly disappeared of her radar, but she assumed the worst had happened, and resorted to her own plan B, which was to alert the Order as anonymously as she could to the danger Caradoc must have been in. They took her bait, luckily enough, and members raced to Russia, where he was awaiting torture to extract information on the Order and death, once they had no more use for him. A small-scale battle broke out when the Order members arrived there, and in the chaotic flurry of battle, Caradoc vanished, unnoticed by either side until nearly all of the battle had been finished.

The original plan was for Caradoc to fly out of England with his Muggle papers to Brazil, where he would meet with some connections he had there before modifying their memories and journeying up into the United States, and eventually Canada, where Rachel was to meet him a year later, under the pretense of visiting family. But Caradoc had only half of his papers, with no time or reachable connections to finish the rest, and couldn't run the risk of using magic in the event that the Order and Death Eaters were watching more closely than he thought. Using what small people skills he possessed (but using more of his persuasive nature and own ingenuity), he was able to go from Russia, through the Bering Straits, into Alaska, and from there, into Canada. Rachel caught up to him three months later, sticking to the original plan of keeping a watch for any activity that indicated they were aware Caradoc was alive, and to carefully phase herself out of her own connections to the Death Eaters and make her move to Canada seem a natural thing to decide—and thankfully, her part in helping him escape seemed to have been hidden for the most part.

There was a huge sigh of relief when they were finally reunited in March, 1981—and although they would never admit to it, both were incredibly worried that their plan would have backfired horribly in the end. She carried with her all of their necessary fake papers, but for a marriage certificate, which they stealthily procured in a private civil ceremony after she browbeat him into actually proposing (which she didn't have to convince him very hard of, thank you), and resumed identities as Carwyn and Rachel Deerborne, which they both smirk about and treat as a huge private joke.

Mirabelle Branwen Deerborne was born November 14th, 1982, and is, as you can expect, a total handful. She had an immediate effect on people from a very young age, owing to how beautiful of a baby she was, but as she grew older, she quickly learned how fast it was to wrap someone around her finger if she played along in a certain fashion. She gives the impression of a talkative ditz, which annoys her father to no end, but every word is carefully monitored, and she is

perfectly capable of thinking of an entirely different subject than that which she is speaking of. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Rachel insists on Mirabelle speaking multiple languages, which she is, admittedly, terrible at, but puts in the effort in hopes that that will be enough to satisfy her mother. She attends Ensorcelé, in Quebec, but luckily for Mirabelle, the only thing French about the school is its name. She is quite sociable, like her mother, but she seems to derive a genuine pleasure for being around people, rather than having them simply for ego-boosts, to boss around, because it's expected, or they've just accidentally become friends. Mirabelle is, however, terribly bossy in that underhanded conniving way that makes people believe that whatever idea she had was a stroke of brilliance on their part, which she eye-battingly goes along with. They've detailed on the numerous rule-breaking excursions Mirabelle has been on, given that rules seriously do not apply to her, and she can sweet-talk her way out of most anything, but she has an on-going war with her Charms professor which has resulted in some very interesting owls home. She doesn't know the full story of what happened with her parents, only that Caradoc went into hiding, so to speak, a year and a half before she was born, but she understands that she can't know the story quite yet, and looks forward to it when she's older. If you were to ask her what she wanted to do right now, she would tell you she honestly had no bloody idea, except that she'd probably go into politics, because she can boss people around into doing whatever she wants to. Except she might have to work behind the scenes, as much as she likes the fame, because figureheads are generally just puppets and she is fully intent on dominating the Ministry.
