Oldie but goodie? :X
Sigh, that's my defense for all of these, but. I AM NEW TO THE BUSINESS OF CDJ? :[

Give me one of my characters and one of yours, and I'll tell you how they end up together and about their first-born-- even if they are unqualified to have children (doesn't die, not canon, etc). I'll even give a PB!

CRACK, AU, AND CANON GLADLY ACCEPTED.

Ludo, Greta, and Alwin

It's not that these two weren't extremely attracted to each other. Because they are.

And it definitely isn't that they aren't really well-suited to each other. Because they are, given that they are both hilarious minxes.

But for some reason or the other, their relationship just never took off in Hogwarts. They dated, of course, Ludo Bagman and Greta Catchlove, but it didn't stick. And then they were involved in a messy love square, and Greta started dating a whole bunch of Slytherins, and Ludo had other things to worry about, like his career, etc. etc., so they completely missed the boat on that one.

However, after school, Greta was working at the Daily Prophet, an aspiring journalist with a promising career ahead of her (and a strange penchant for baking), and Ludo rising quickly to Quidditch star fame, things appeared to be going in a good direction for them—even if they weren't together. But by some stroke of fate, Greta wound up at Ludo's room, doing an entertainment piece for the Prophet which featured Ludo. They had a fun night of reconnecting, but it was filled with a lot of those awkward kinds of moments, like one too many innuendos are tossed around, and she looks at him for just a moment too long, and his hand grazes hers a little more than necessary…. Well, the next day, she showed up to his room, wearing scandalously little beneath her robes, claiming there had been a few follow up questions that she had forgotten to ask him.

After a few weeks of casually seeing each other, they decided it did make sense to pick the relationship back up again. Which they did, for about six months, before Ludo's career was suddenly too important and he all but dropped Greta, which did not sit well with her at all, she'll have you know. Only, Ludo totally fumbled at his next game, clearly driven to distraction by the fact that he was no longer with Greta, and she was totally feeling a disconnect with her work, and they were both pretty darned miserable. So when he showed up at her door this time, with a ring in hand, there was only one natural direction they could take.

Except that she refused to marry him, but since they live together, and do all the things that married people do, he finds it hard to be that annoyed with her.

Alwin Hawthorn Hans Catchlove-Bagman (although he goes by Catchlove, because it just "sounds better") was born January 11th, 1981. He's an extremely boisterous kid who does not listen to anybody unless it is his mother threatening to whack him with her rolling pin, which she has definitely done before (the actual whacking, she means). While both his parents, his mother, especially, have daredevil natures, it seems to have been amplified in Alwin. They knew, for certain, that he was a wizard when he fell (but he claims he jumped) and rolled down the trunk before coasting to a gentle stop. They don't know how he got in that tree, but his father definitely thinks he should have broken something then, because it would discourage him from doing more stupid things. Alwin is an animated storyteller, and has no problems embellishing on stories he thinks are lacking in good detail. His Uncle Fredrick is probably the perpetrator of this habit, being that Greta once caught him going "No, Al, you tell it like this," and proceeded to spin a fantastical story that forever idolized Fredrick… forever. But we can't forget Uncle Otto, and his crazy habits either, which seemed to pass along to their child as well, making him that much more of a troublemaker. A Hufflepuff, he has boundless energy, a smart mouth when he feels like it, and rather owns the other boys at Quidditch, because he's not only got the talent passed on to him by his ex-all-star player for a father and damn good Seeker mother, but that kid is the damn fastest thing on a broom that's ever been seen.
