"Alternator's good." The item in question was in pieces on the work bench. He'd been taught to rebuild one at an early age, so it wouldn't take all his attention. It went together easier with bare hands, so he put the gloves down and picked up a jar of silicon glove.
He scooped out a good amount and rubbed it in as he looked over what the nephew was doing. "How are things going with the folks?"
