Challenge Response: Naked time in the tower
Corinna thought no one would be here today. She thought that everyone was out and she would have the monitor room to herself as well as the rest of the Watch Tower. She just had a robe in case she got chilly as she made her way in with a tall glass and set it down.

Suddenly feeling very safe she took off her robe hanging it over the back of the chair as she started to get set up for monitor duty. She had no idea that she wasn't as alone as she thought she might be. That was going to be a real surprise for the Amazon given she wasn't even wearing a leg brace today. For her it was a state of being fully vulnerable.

Jon is one of the few people she's been around without the brace. He's helped her out with the leg a time or two.

He's only here because he promised he wouldn't get back to active duty /too/ soon. He wasn't feeling well, mostly the neck and shoulder, so he stayed in bed.

Eventually, though, he needs to get some work done, or so he convinces himself once he's feeling up to it - so he heads for the monitor room, trying to be reasonably quiet in case whoever is on duty was told by his mother or someone to try and tell him to get back to bed.

Honestly she didn't expect him to be here. She thought Jon would rest up like any sane person would after their life had been threatened.

And really does Jon think he can sneak around? She could hear someone and that has her go suddenly go very still. If she was back home this wouldn't be a problem. But she knows others might be upset by her being naked.

She decides to stay quite because maybe they won't notice she's sitting naked in a chair. The dimmed lights shouldn't give away too much.

Had there been any movement, or had he been looking for anyone, that would have been one thing. Were the monitors not doing that annoying buzz that only those with super hearing pick up, he'd surely hear her heartbeat or breathing. As it is, he doesn't.
Likewise, were he moving normal speeds, the circumstances of discovery might have been a little less awkward, if just a little - but alone, he sees no reason not to get things done a little more efficiently... especially with one arm in a sling slowing him down anyway.

As such, he hasn't noticed her by the time he takes a seat in the main monitor chair... it takes a few moments, processing thoughts about not remembering the chair being this soft, the backrest being unusually squishy and oddly positioned... which is about the point it starts to occur, a split second after sitting, that he's in someone's lap... and judging by his free hand ending up on her thigh, intending, originally, to try and adjust the seat, that person isn't wearing much.

	She isn't quite blushing right now. The dark haired Amazon was sort of amused and also knew this was going to be very embarrassing for at least one of them. "Hello Jon. I thought you were supposed to be resting. Possibly at home like a sane person would." She's trying to not chuckle. "I don't blame you.... could you please get out of my lap?" He's up in a moment, turning to face her in surprise. "I..." She's naked. Why is Corrinna naked? Why can't he stop noticing she's naked?

Finally, he tears his glance upward, long since taught to look at someone's face when speaking to them, no matter what the distraction.

After a couple gaping mouthed efforts to find the words, he manages, "The rooms here are.... are better equipped. Sunlamps and all. Recovering faster here."

And honestly the look on his face is priceless. She wants to laugh a little but doesn't. Her eyebrows say it all though as they arch up in utter amusement.

"I see. Perhaps you shouldn't be skulking around trying to do things you shouldn't Jon. You're supposed to be resting.... Is there anything I can help you with?" And with care she crossed her legs one knee over the other with a very calm expression on her face.

This is as normal as corn bread Jon.

	He notices the amusement, which just makes things that much more awkward. He finally manages a deep breath, still blushing, but collecting himself enough to talk. "I was feeling better, and its just monitor duty." he replies, not entirely able to ignore her brazen display, or the movement of her legs, even if he's trying not to look. 	Yeah she should do something about being naked. "I have a robe," she offers. Then actually blushes. "I didn't think anyone would be here." "You just had the joint grind for trying to shift in your seat. Just sticking a brace on it isn't going to help. Right now, that's my concern... I... think I've already gotten quite an eyeful, I can handle it, now that I'm over the shock... at least until we get your leg immobilized for a bit. Then you can come join me in medical... I'll put your brace over the wraps and we can just tell anyone who asks that you're keeping me company so no one needs to know."

He nods, grabbing her robes before picking her up. Its a little awkward with a mostly bad arm, but he manages after having to conspicuously readjust his handholds some, with much blushing, before he manages quite the way he'd like.

Thankfully, from there, its a quick trip with her and the robe back to his temporary room, since it has all the medical tools needed to deal with highly invulnerable people.

By the time they get there Corinna gives a low grunt. By now she can tell it hurts enough to be concerned. She isn't too bothered by him having to readjust her and works to not chuckle as to embarrass him more.

"I think I may like to ice it too. I can actually feel were it hurts now." And she might take a hot bath when she isn't worried about keeping her leg immobile.

	He nods, letting her relax and laying her robe over most of her while he sets to getting ice and an immobilizing wrap. "I can see where it hurts. Brace yourself, I'm going to adjust it, then I'll ice it up for you. You're going to be stuck in here for a bit. Hope you don't mind the heat lamps... at least you dressed for it." 	She nods grabbing the side of the med bed he put her on. It was possible that she might bend the frame if it hurts when he does what is necessary but this room is built for people like them so maybe it won't happen. "I know.
