One Post Plot in a Can

Based on the Dark Heart episode of JLU

This is a plot that everyone can get involved with and can use multiple characters in

1. A Team or an Individual is called in to check out a meteorite which turns out to be the Dark Heart.

2. They are overwhelmed by the Dark Heart bots and call in everyone hero they know for back up since they are needed.

3. Massive fight that all they are doing is slow down their advance.

4. Someone notices that bashing and power is just not working an maybe a tech solution is needed.

5. All the tech experts and mechanical experts meet and brain storm while the others try to hold the line till a solution is found.

6. The solution is used to take the Dark Heart down and save the day.

I had an idea for a fun sort of mini plot based on the Dark Heart episode of JLU for DC Nextgen. Basically a nanotech dark heart crashs into the middle of the southwestern united states desert one of the teams or an individual goes to check it out and are attack the robots and quickly realize they need a lot of help if they are going to take it down and call in everyone. This means any character that currently has connections with the superhero community currently can join in on the fight and it would be time bendyed to allow characters currently in plots or other places to join in on the fight. The fight would be a mosh pit style so people could just post what the character is doing and just have one bad guy post in response to all of them allowing the fight to move pretty fast. Since the dark heart is such a dangerous enemy this would let the power hitting character who usually don’t get to go and use they full powers a chance to do so and have some fun.

After a while of doing this someone will realize that this method isn’t working and they are barely slowing them down which should lead to a think tank session with all the really smart character and character with mechanical aptitude who come up with a plan to take the Dark Heart robots down while everyone else keeps fights to buy them time. They then use whatever device they come up with to take the robots down and save the day.
