I don't think you expect me to think it's a date. I do think, however, that I do want it to be a date of some sort. Maybe not the most conventional one? At least more than just hanging out. I don't know how to explain it to make sense, but between just hanging out as friends and dating exclusively. More than friends I guess would be the phrase? I can't promise a kiss at the end of it, but I would like it to be more than just two friends hanging out at the beach, if that's ok and if I made any sense at all.

Tone's hard to tell via paper, so I can't really gauge your response as easily. ~~And I don't want~~ And I can make the whole thing easier without all the extra thoughts ~~because~~ making it all weird.
