Halo 2 Done!
Well I woke up around 8am this morning (went to bed around 4AM) and picked up Halo 2. Pretty much played through until I beat it.
emilie and I did take a break to go get our traditional breakfast at KC Bagels. I finished up around 10-10:30AM. So how about some thoughts?
Well, I love how you could dual wield, that definitely helped out in several situations. The story got pretty interesting and left off with the need to play Halo 3. The game itself felt much shorter then Halo, but maybe it's because it took me so long to beat Halo. Overall I did enjoy Halo 2.
So after that, I worked on getting OS X Server installed but I ran into a snag where it wouldn't because I didn't have enough RAM. So I ended up imaging a drive with the installer, installing it to enother external and cloning it to the machine and that kinda worked until I had to provide a serial for the install. So it's a dead project. Now I am attempting to install the latest client seed on my PowerBook but as usual it's giving me trouble, working a solution though.
So I tried out Halo 3 today, all I can really say at this point is wow. It sure is a setup graphically then Halo and Halo 2. I probably shouldn't be too surprised but after playing Halo 2, you can really appreciate the graphics from an xBox 360 game. There are some new weapons, you can still duel wield and it totally kicks ass. I cannot wait until I get an "official" version and when Morgan, Keith and I can co-op through campaign mode, and play multiplayer death matches. It's going to be so much fun!
Not sure what Emilie and I are doing tomorrow, might hit up Barnes and Noble and buy some books, I would also like to get a few CD binders or whatever you call them. I have so much optical media that needs a nice home.
I think I have some Windows homework which I'll have to get done either tonight or tomorrow (most likely tomorrow). Time to get this stupid client installed, then off to watch some South Park and sleep.
