Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus

’ve actually had this game since the 15th…so about 10 days. I haven’t opened it or played it or anything’d with it. I found out about the game 1 day before it was released, some Final Fantasy fan I am. Well…I had actually known about this for some time, and then I forgot about it because I thought it had been cancelled or done in Japan only so I just gave up. I was reading some website and they mentioned something about Dirge of Cerberus and so I started looking up some information and I went to EBGames website and sure enough the release date was the next day!!
Come the next day I somehow got the day off from work and drove up to my local EBGames. I walked in and the guy knew I was going to ask about it and he just said, not until tomorrow! So I asked him why every website said the game was coming out that day. He said yes but only on the west coast since the games originate from the warehouses over there. They still needed to get shipped to the east coast. Kind of a little stupid, I thought they would have done that on the 13th and 14th so they could be in gamers hands on both east and west coast on the 15th. Boohoo!! So I ended up reserving Final Fantasy XII, the collectors edition and reserving Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus. Odd how you can reserve a game the day before it comes out!
The following day I was scheduled to work a normal day, but somehow I was given the day off again. I hopped into my car and went up to grab my copy of the game. There it was waiting for me.
Now the game has been sitting under my desk with a copy of the guide for the last 10 days!! Why?!? Because I still have so many games to finish, as you might know Xenosaga is one of them. I am currently on mission 9 of 14. So I am getting there…
One thing that really excites me about Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus is the fact that it can be played using a keyboard and mouse. I’ve been wanting to do this for so long on a console. Hopefully within the next month I will be able to break out the game and give it a go!!
