Need a Horse Hauler?
Recently my girlfriend moved from PA to VT and moving her stuff was fairly easy for the most of it. We all know how much junk girls have though! Of course her 15.3hh horse wouldn’t fit in the Enterprise rented van we got so we had to scour the web and ask around to find a company or person to get the horse up here.
We were going to use one of the people who work at the barn in PA where the horse used to be housed but that didn’t work out and was far to expensive. The next thing we tried was a service called American Equine. We got everything sorted out and put down a payment and everything was good until a week or so before the horse was to be transported. They called and told us it wasn’t going to happen unless we payed about $1500 or so. Note to anyone who needs to move their horse, DON’T USE AMERICAN EQUINE SERVICES. They SUCK.
So we kept looking around and my girlfriend eventually found a small company that goes by Green Mountain Farms. This guy is great, his name is Charles and he’ll get you situated. He knows what he’s doing, has got a buttload of experience under his belt and is very reasonably priced.
So if you’re looking for someone to haul your horse(s) I would highly recommend you check this guy out.
Oh, one last thing, we met with him on Thursday and he’ll have the horse her on Saturday…excellent service. A+++
