World of Warcraft - Installations & Updates
I am re-installing World of Warcraft on my AMD Athlon64 3800+ X2 machine and it’s literally taking 45 minutes. I just forgot that it took so long!! Is this an issue for anyone else or am I just unlucky!? I am happy that I have the DVD version though. I disliked having to switch out 5 CDs over the course of 30-45 minutes. Of course after it’s installed I’ll need to download the 450MB patch.
My new character that I created on Skullcrusher is upto level 23 now. This time around I learned Engineering, Mining and the other three that anyone can do; cooking, first aid, fishing. I must say that ever since I really got into the game, I am even more addicted. I love raising my skill levels and completing my quests. That and my girlfriend is playing with me. She’s a level 22 orc warlock. We play just about every night and right through thr weekends!
Not only have a I created this new orc hunter char but also I created a Night Elf on the Thrall server. I just did that this morning, so it’s still level 1. I had some issues finding a server that was within my time zone. Does anyone have a list of servers with the time zones?
That’s that for WoW news for now. I’m sure I’ll post more as I work on my new characters!
