New Proc & More.
Finally, I got a new CPU, like I really needed one. I had an AMD Athlon64 3500+ which was nice. But now I have this BEAST!
WAH HAHAHA notice on my website how the font seems bigger, I gotta figure that out cause it's really annoying. So uh let's see, I've been busy working, doing homework and thats about it...just busy busy! I got myself a new office at Small Dog. I am upstairs in the parts/iPod room now. I have a lot of space all to myself. We might be getting some 4,000 iPods in (WEEKLY!!!) that I get to work on. So that is most definitely a nice project to keep me busy.
I moved the XServe and XServe RAID into my closet. I can now keep them on 24/7, at least the XServe since I can't hear it anymore even when I leave the door open a little. I stuck a really nice big fan in there to keep things cool. it's really neat cause I also got to use WDS with it.
Woke up around 6:30am today cause I had to go to Sears and get my tires changed. It's like a bi-annual thing my parents and I do. We go out to breakfast also. We also hit up Barnes and Noble and I got a present for my sisters birthday which I think is soon. I also got myself this little water rock garden but I want one that is power through the wall outlet or something. They have em at that Bed and Bath store cause Jack and I got one for our dorm room. I also got Howls Moving Castle manga, it's really nice cause it's in color. I got part 1 and 2. I think there's 4 parts. It's a quality piece of literature! I also got another horsey book. Hardcover, it's called Encyclopedia of the Horse! Wicked sexay! OOOOH! Ok, so I found this other horse book, it was like Horses and People We Know With Them. AND HILARY DUFF was in it!! It was done around the time she was doing more Lizzie McGuire stuff which is the Hilary I like (not so much anymore) but it was so cool. It talked about the ponies her and Haylie had and how she lived on a ranch in Austin growing up and all. VERY VERY COOL!
I finally installed the Last.fm plugin again. I missed about a months worth of music, but now it's back to updating
my page! It'll also show up in that image in my userinfo for LJ.
So not much else to speak about. I played some SOCOM the other day. That game sucks. Either that or my tactics of running in and blowing everything up isn't what they're looking for.
I am starting my project of turning a G4 Cube case into a fish tank. I found
this nice guide on the intarweb, so when I get a Dremel and some plexiglass and some more time I'm doing it! It's so cool and what the hell else am I going to do with these 2 cube cases. I bet I could talk Greg into doing it up with me since he has a dremel. Summer project!
So this week is supposed to be 50 to 60 degrees! I am so spending as much time as I can riding and being outside if this is true! My WoW subscription expires this week. YAY? Sorta...I love the game...but I am glad I won't be paying to play. I'll be on Battlefield 2 instead.
