WoW'ing and Homework Crap
So yesterday, I dunno, for some reason today feels like Monday and yesterday was Sunday...obviously not!! So I went to the St. Albans Messenger and just installed a NIC into the new PowerMac we had brought them. Before I did that though I tested the transferring of files between the PowerMac and the PowerMac Server machine. Things went fast upstream but when I tried to upload something it was so so slow! So I just installed the card, tested the downstream/upstream speeds and it was all normal. Then I had to re-do a printer and this is all OS9 mind you. I know nothing about it. So I figured out I needed to enable AppleTalk on the damn ethernet card. And then all was fine! :)
Then I had to stop off at PetsMart to pick up some new lightbulbs for my "lizard lamps". I don't if I mentioned that I had managed to kill 2 of them in one morning. VEry weird, but then I realized well, I have been using them each for about 3-4 months which is the normal life on those things. Also got this neat little tree. I'll take some pictures once my camera returns from vacation with Berkey down in Florida.
So I spent some time reading the WoW manual, fun fun haha Also worked on websites and all and did some email since I was way behind.
I finally started
playing WoW. I am at level 7 as we speak and I have NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING. I run around and kill little boars and scorpids. FUN! Haha No seriously...I think I already failed the experiment cause I just FEEL very addicted, like even when I am not playing, I'm like shit, I gotta level up. It's horrible.
Random Notes: Also got some homework done. Basically just got it gathered up and put into a file on Writely.com Played WoW multiple times for an unknown amount of time. How do you even check how long you've played on there? My friend says he's clocked 10 days worth of play time...
I've created 2 filters for managing and viewing friends and communities. I bet you can get how it sorts them! :) So that's much nicer and cleaner.
Armor For Sleep soon! woot.
Listened to a lot of the Security Now podcast, although the last 3-4 episodes have been on the WMF exploit. Stupid Microsoft...not too good guys!
Well I guess it's time for work...yay.
