CADENCE LIAO
Born as the youngest of the Liao clan, Cadence grew up into a large and bustling family in the bustling city of Koahsiung. She was not a fussy baby, rarely cried and spent most of her time on independent play when she was old enough. While raised with her older brother of two years Johnny, his sharp tongue quipped with brutal honesty deterred her. It wasn't a big issue once she learned how to read. Equipped with a book in her hand at all times, Cadence divulged her focus on literature as leisure.
She discovered manga soon after. Transfixed with the stories and art combined, Cadence lined her walls with accessories and volumes, filling her computer with anime and scans. It didn't take long for her to develop an appreciation of the Japanese lifestyle she read so much about, convincing her parents to enroll her into language and culture classes while only in middle school.
She was passionate with her studies all while juggling chores and responsibilities. Despite her physical age, she grew into maturity quickly by her own initiative. Causing little trouble to her parents gave her the courage to approach them before she began high school. Culture classes and lessons weren't enough. Although it took some tough arguments Cadence received help from her father's old friend and her own friend, Rei. After agreeing to room with Rei, it was finalized. It was time to experience Japan for herself.
