Personality and History: As the youngest of two loud, boisterous brothers, Dominic learned from a young age that you had to be loud and outlandish to be noticed. He competed with his older brothers for the attention of their parents since, as the youngest voice, he was more apt to be unheard. This just wouldn't do for Dominic. As he grew older, it became difficult for his parents to pay attention to much else than their youngest son. He was always making friends and running off and bent on being so troublingly curious that it worried his parents from the start. The family took frequent trips to the shore, of which stopped abruptly when Dominic was nine years old and discovered disecting dead jellyfish that had washed onto the beach. Even still, it had become common practice no matter where Dominic was to figure out what made things tick.

This interest hadn't dwindled by the time it was Dominic's turn to go to school. While his two brothers had been sorted into Ravenclaw for their own respective years, Dom suprised no one by being sorted into Gryffindor. He certainly fit the bill. He was brash, charismatic, humorous, brave, curious, and impulsive. Dom was just generally the sort of person you might consider sticking onto a poster for the Gryffindor house. At any rate, he quickly made friends with those in his house and in other houses, save Slytherin. Just as passionately as Dominic made friends, he just as passionately made enemies of those who rubbed him the wrong way. Of those few who rubbed him the wrong way, the majority belonged to the Slytherin house. Dom easily landed above average grades in class, surprisingly enough to those who believed he couldn't be serious for even five seconds straight, and maintained a very active social life. In his third year, he met a girl named Emily who'd been sorted into his house. The two hit it off, but it took until he was in his fifth year before a relationship was officially understood, even if it had seemed that way for quite some time before then.

It was also in his fifth year that Dominic became a beater for the Gryffindor quidditch team. Before then, he was an avid supporter of the team and a constant at the try-outs, but it took one hard summer of practice following his fourth year before he could actually make it into a spot. Dominic did very well as a Beater, even if he wasn't the most fantastic the school had ever seen. Quidditch was recreational for him and fun, never something he considered for a career. No, Dominic had known what he wanted to be since he was a kid and his only patients were jellyfish. Immediately upon leaving Hogwarts after his seventh year, Dominic began studying extra for a boost in his career as a Healer.

Things with Emily were still going great. He loved the girl with all of his heart and, when she graduated two years later, the two made the decision to settle down and marry. Emily started out in training as a Healer, but instead chose nursing. Dom was already settled into his own Healing career and, once Emily was comfortable in her nursing career, there was a baby on the way. Angelina Marie Johnson brought a bang into the lives of Dominic and Emily. Dom is a very doting father and tends to spoil his daughter. Fatherhood is likely the greatest thing that's ever happened to him. Even if his boyish sense of humor and personality doesn't push this point through, the birth of his daughter has pushed him to grow up considerably.
Likes: His family, his friends, his job, eating, sleeping, quidditch.
Dislikes: Lectures, people who lack senses of humor, ketchup, cats.
Alignment: Not-Voldemort!
Friends:
Enemies: Ryan Turpin
Significant Other: Dominic Johnson
Personality and History: Emily grew up in a very close, loving family. Her parents were shocked and confused when an oddly dressed woman appeared on their doorstep on Emily's 11th birthday, announcing that their eldest daughter was a witch and, should they allow it, Emily would be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the following September. It seemed like a joke but the idea of it was all to exciting to say no. So she went off to school being sorted into Gryffindor, and in her 5th year she was followed by her sister Audrey. It was at school that Emily met Dominic, 2 years older than her. Things hit off well for them and by the time they were out of school they already had plans of getting married, settling down. She was accepted into the healer program but after a few months found that she preferred bedside manner to poking and prodding for illnesses. She switched over to the nursing program and has been happy ever since. Well, the only thing that's made her happier is her daughter, but that's a given. When Angelina was born in October, the Johnsons were ecstatic and now that she's nearly one year old, they're excited to see her first steps and hear her speech improve and vocabulary grow.

There are, however, two sides to Emily Johnson. On the one hand she can be very kind and loving, a Samaritan to a fault. On the other hand, she has quite the mean streak in her as Ryan Turpin will tell you. She can hold a grudge like no other and is not afraid to chew someone out when they deserve it. She's firm with her patients but knows when sympathy is appropriate.

Likes: bright colored nurses robes, Angie, cookie dough ice cream, chocolate biscuits, humility
Dislikes: lying scumbags, being bored, asparagus, the taste of pepper up potion (don't ask, she had a bad run in with it when she was younger)
Alignment: neutral
put you to bed when you've had too much to drink
Gryffindor Cancer: Gryffindors born under the sign of Cancer will root for the home team until their throats are raw. They are deeply loyal to their House (and also to any friends outside of their House, although these may take a back seat to Gryffindor loyalties). Make a friend with a Gryffindor Cancer, and you've made a friend for life. Cancer is a sentimental, yet high achieving sign that dreams often, and dreams big; this combined with the Gryffindor romantic streak creates a quixotic, almost anachronistically chivalrous temperament.
Gryffindor Virgo: This is not a natural sign for Gryffindor, but some Gryffindors do end up born under the influence of Virgo. They are hard workers and usually very bright; they tend to be more ethically obsessed than most. Some Virgo wizards are also sorted into House Gryffindor because of their amazing imaginations; on the surface they may appear straight-laced and almost nervous, but inside is a wealth of romantic yearning and fantastic excitement. They quietly build dream castles in their minds; and the practical influence of the Earth element means that they, unlike more flighty signs, may have some chance of building those dream castles on solid foundations.
