I am having a really bad week. I need a break. ~~Maybe everyone's right and I do just need to get laid or lighten up or something. I wish I had a girlfriend.~~

I think it's great that you work so hard. Really. And I know Leslie is upset about you grounding her, but I think she's really lucky to have you looking out for her. Not everyone has someone who cares about them like that, you know?

I don't know if I have any great and meaningful advice to give you, but I think you're pretty great and I bet if you let people get to know you, they'd think so, too. I know you work a lot and you have a lot of responsibility, but you have to take time for yourself once in awhile, too.

I don't have all the answers, Josh, but I don't think nobody remembers you. I like you and I'm glad we're friends and I really don't think I'm alone in that.

Just hearing that you care about me means a lot to me because I feel alone a lot. Like people don't see me. I mean even with you I thought you were just being nice because I thought you were... nice? I don't know. I just keep people at arm's length because I have a lot going on behind the scenes I guess and I don't want someone to get close and then for me to get hurt. You know what I mean?

I think you're a really great person, Dari. I've always considered you my friend I just didn't think I was yours, too. It means a lot to me to hear you say that. It means a lot to me that you offered to take me to lunch and just listen. That you care.

~~I get it. Really, I do.~~ I think we all feel like that sometimes, like the world would just go on without us if we weren't here. Have you ever seen It's A Wonderful Life? It's like that. We feel insignificant, but we're not.

It's scary to get close and let people in, but I think it's worth it. And I guess I am nice. Life's too short to waste it being all mean and hateful, you know? I mean, nothing is perfect, but you have to make the most of what you have.

That means a lot to me, that you don't think I'm insignificant. I mean I know how I am, and I'm ok with that. I'm ok with being responsible and silly, but sometimes it'd just be nice if there was one other person to appreciate that.

You're way more than nice. I've been feeling awful and you're the only one that's made me feel better today. Thank you.

And you better take me up on it. Leslie and Tallie call it my cave because I keep the lights low and sit in here and read or play video games or whatever. They sneak out of the house to come hang out in my room all the time. You should definitely come hang out with me sometime. I would like that a lot. And I really like that we had this talk. Thank you again.
