SOO YEON LEE
Born in South Korea, Soo Yeon was constantly fixated with sounds and music. When she was old enough to walk on two feet, she was wiggling around to the radio. When she studied, she kept the radio on. She dreamed about being a radio host, but eventually decided to shoot larger. Her vocals were already bringing praises from her family members, so Soo Yeon began music lessons and researched entertainment companies before setting her hopes on SM Entertainment. She trained until SM’s Entertainment contest was right around the corner, and then entered as a contestant.
Thanks to the SM family, most of the idols made it to safety during the 2009 Outbreak. Although undeniable changes were occurring around the world and their own bodies, Soo Yeon eventually decided to stick the group together, performing to distract the audience from their trials and tribulations. On their free time, the girls began to figure out their own abilities, working together to train their new found powers.
Soo Yeon’s own abilities were too confusing for her to handle. At first, she believed she had levitation since she could fly. It became evident quickly that there was something more to it, as Soo Yeon was one of the first to realize something was wrong moments before the bombs fell. She knew nothing more than a strange, nagging feeling in her guts…then the bombs shattered the world....
