.001 -- Flail.
Holly moves like a ghost when she wants too. Which explains why my front hallway is covered with small, purple handprints. As are my favorite pair of jeans, from when she came running at me when I discovered her new art project. I think I'll leave the ones in the hallway. It's a good warning sign. 'I have a child, proceed with caution.' Or better yet 'I have a child, so don't flip the fuck out when I mention her halfway through the date'.

In other news, Saturday night was another bust. Hooray.

You should definitely keep them there! I bet it looks adorable.

Ugh, really? What happened?

She can do your place next weekend. I'm thinking your house would look awesome with kid handprints in....blue.

The usual. First off, he had as much personality as a potato. The conversation was dead boring. Then, when I got around the mentioning Holly, he had this look on his face like he'd been hit with a tazer. Idiot men.

Maybe she can work her magic on the downstairs bathroom. I'm looking for a new theme, anyway.

[DAWN]

Jeez. Sounds like a slimeball. How about you go out with me this weekend? Or we could stay in, depending on whether or not Holly's with you. We don't need men to have a good time, do we?

We get rid of one ghost and another one shows up in it's place. What is the world coming too?

I said that she moved like a ghost, not that she was a ghost. Sheesh.

She's sneaky like that, I'm surprised that you're only just figuring that out. The area directly above the baseboards in her room and I caught on when she was found with a dry erase marker and a drawing of her family- her entire family. Looks like your family's affinity for the arts may have passed onto her.

And you made that giant fuss about finding those shoes over nothing?
There are always other fish in the sea?

I'm not just now figuring it out. I'm letting the world at large know that I we I do, in fact, have the stealthiest child in town. At least my family did manage to pass on something positive.

Shut up, Spencer.
Mmmhm.

We have the stealthiest child in town. I'd like to think that my genes at least have contributed something towards her. Why do I get the feeling that that's some sort of jab aimed at me? Because it more than likely is

Did the gold shoes not come in handy?

It wasn't a jab, Spencer. Do you have to turn everything in to an argument.

No. Apparently, the idea of a woman with a child is so terrifying that not even gold shoes can save the date.
