Well, that had happened.

It was all very weird, scary, and exhausting. But it definitely just emphasized that the oommitment she'd made was for real. And worth it, what with more people being safer and all because she'd been able to help. And now they had a whole little Hero (or Heroine) Education thing going, apparently, and that was going to help a lot, and the people seemed nice.

She was there now, but nothing much was happening at the moment, so she was sitting outside on a rock, had her guitar out and was playing "Rainbow Connection."

"Well," she says with 14-year-old sagacity, "We are in the processes of ascertainening where the best places are to watch things from." A correction of her accidental mispronounciations might well kill her, kids, particularly if in front of Mikal. Just a warning. "Once we've got there where, we'll need to work on things like what and whom."

He's certainly not about to correct her. "Good point. Well, let's see, over that way is makeout p... uhm, a high, somewhat isolated point with a good view, if we're not just going to hover. Or towards the city. Depends on what you want a view of."

Makeout point? Janie just sighs and has to roll her eyes at him. Typical Mikal.

"I like that you're a planner," she smiles at Clara. No, the girl who had taken forever to pronounce Themyscira right, and still stumbled over it once in a while, wasn't going to be correcting. "City or Mikal's future favourite place I'm probably going to have to fish him from?"
