..I think I need to go play with the hippogriffs, I rather feel like I am going to throw up.

Oh! And Mummy wants to know if you'll be able to come by during hols for a bit, if not we're going to owl you our Christmas present--she has lots of Muggle treats for you! But she said that we can cook in the kitchen if she's home!

...okay, I still think I am going to vomit. I am going to go outside and take a deep breath...

Deep breaths, Gelsey! Deep breaths! It's not a big deal, okay? It'll be fine! What are you getting him? ~~I still don't know what I'm getting Charlie~~ I can help you wrap it up if you want!

I'm not sure, yet! I'll let you know? Because we're going skiing and Booth and Charlie are coming with and I think my aunt Gladys might be coming, too but I'm not sure because Stewart said she'd be visiting him, but if my mum lets me get away for a couple of days and Charlie and Booth want to, I'll totally be there! Maybe she can teach me how to cook the muggle way because that would be the best present ever!

And please, don't die! Things will go well when you give Justin his present. ~~I hope~~

What if he hates it and hexes me? Or worse, hires someone else to hex me, then I never know it's coming?

~~Or worse. Ignores it.~~ What do I do!!! Yes, I will need help wrapping it--I got him his favourite cookies, because I see him getting them by owl, and you can't get them in Hogsmeade, you have to go to Muggle groceries to get them--oh and what he told Emma he wanted for Christmas. That was a very helpful post!

Oh, you know that Charles and Booth are both welcome to come, you know how Mum is with me and friends. She's so excited that Neville will be coming to visit for a day, but she also says that everyone must become familiar with London, so our doors are open to everyone. But yes, she'll teach you how to cook! She is such a good one, though she usually gets us a lot of take away, since she doesn't feel like cooking often, which means a lot of thai noodles, which are so yummy my stomach smiles.

How about after lunch, I meet you and we wrap the present and then I'll go get my owlie pie and send it to him? Oh, I don't want to die, it has to go well!!!

That's not bad! I think... would it be bad? ~~I'd rather not see that, though~~ And I don't think Justin would do that! Seriously! Like, okay, he can be ~~pretty~~ a bit harsh sometimes, but he would never, ever, ever hurt anyone for that! And besides, if you got him his favourite cookies, then it would be no problem at all! And what did he tell Emma, I haven't read through this journal in a while!

That's so awesome, I love your mum! I really hope we can go visit at least for a little bit and maybe mum can come too, and dad if he wants to. Matthew will probably stay behind because he hates travelling and it will be tough enough to get him to go skiing with us, but he'll go anyway, because there's no way mum will let him spend Christmas by himself, since you should spend Christmas with your family, right?

That works for me! I'll meet you in the common room? No, not there, Justin might be there... behind the greenhouses? Near the quidditch pitch?

I don't know! All I know is, if he kissed me? I'd probably die, I think I need a lot of preparation for that. Oh, but can't you just picture it? He gets the owl, he's so delighted at the cookies and the pink pony--he wants a pink pony, I charmed it to prance and neigh!--and then he finds me out by the hippogriffs, giving them all Christmas scarves because that's what I made them for Christmas, and then he kisses me! And then I die! And then the hippogriffs step on dead me!

...I am so tempted to go and See what will happen, but that is very very wrong, and you have to scold me very hard if I creep for my crystal ball!

You have to spend Christmas with your family! I feel badly for people who stay here at the school, though I know that there are lots who prefer to stay, and I just want to take them all home with me, though Mum would probably not want to feed everyone at Hogwarts, though she makes such a fine Christmas duck, I think that they would quite appreciate it. But oh! Maybe she could make the duck again if your family comes! It's so wonderful. I think she's going to owl your parents and see if they wanted to have tea while they are all waiting for the train at Kings Cross. I love it that our parents are friendly. When will your parents meet Charles's parents! Will you be nervous?

Yes, I think he would be--let's meet at the greenhouse, maybe Professor Sprout will be there, and we can wheedle some sweets from her, she has such a good stash in her cupboard. I wonder if Neville has a key to it! That would be divine!

I think today is a day for antlers.

No, you wouldn't die! Well, no, you'd probably pass out but you wouldn't die! And a pink pony? Are you sure he said pink pony? That's so cute! And well, if you think you can die after he kisses you, then maybe you should stay away from the hippogriffs after you give him his present and just wait afterwards to give them their presents and that way, you don't get stomped by the hippogriffs!

No Seeing, though! You know what they say about foreseeing your own future!

I know! I don't understand why they're staying, unless they think of the professors as their family, so they like spending time with them, which is a bit weird, I guess, but if that makes them happy! Right? And she should totally owl mum, she would love that! Especially since that might not come greet us at the platform, so she wouldn't be lonely! And my parents know Charlie's parents already! We're all neighbours, didn't you know? And like, well, they don't know each other like very well, but they do! And okay, I am a little bit nervous, I guess, but I'd rather not think about that or I'll start freaking out!

And okay, Greenhouse it is! And I don't think stealing from Professor Sprout's stash of sweets is a good idea, Gelsey!
