It's been ok.

Got to chat a nice long time with enednoviel. If I don't get my Marion time, I'm a grumpy girl.

Managed to get to Costco and the grocery store. Learned I did get a raise (even though I just got the promotion this summer) and so did the rest of my crew, plus a bonus. No federal tax dollars went to the bonuses, I promise. ;) It's a small raise, but nice, and the bonus will repad the savings account.

Picked Katie up from school and took them all to the pediatrician as the older two had booster shots. They both turned into little chickenshits, and we had to wait another ten minutes while they got it together, lol. Then Karl decided to be brave and Katie whined but in the end, they got their promised ice cream treats and $5 giftees from Target. Shots really are no fun. I'm willing to sweeten shitty deals.

Edited a bit of what I wrote and am thinking about how it goes next. I know what I want to happen 2/3's of the way through, but I have to get there first. And end it. Hrm.

Anyone who's not afeared of kidfic willing to see what I have and help me brainstorm a bit? Please holler. I do well when I'm bouncing ideas off people. I guess I need a partner sometimes. :) Anyone want to be the Starsky to my Hutch?

Kids are all hyped up on sugar from school parties. And then I gave them ice cream. *eyeroll* Good thing we're on a weekend. Swimming lessons tomorrow, no school Monday, and I have Monday off, too, although I didn't think I did. There's an education rally in Salem; trying to decide if we want to go or not.

It's that dollar that pays me to do the job you want me to do or you bithc (tm) about me NOT doing that, too. All those times when you bump a question in the forum and demand to know if anyone's going to answer it or not? HELLO. And pays all the rest of the staff and the engineers and you know, continues to contribute to the economy that's trying to piss itself out to sea. GET OVER IT. My Yahoo!Mail is freaking out on me, can't open up mails - instead gives me some long hooey error code that I was then directed to copy and paste in a tech email. Hopefully they'll get that resolved since all my listmail is there.
