There is definitely back room dealing, and, until near the end, she manages to not find too much of her dad in the primary characters - probably for the best. The ultimate placement of values over politics, and winning the massive acclaim for conviction does bring a couple tears though.
Somewhere in the midst of it, she's even found herself nestled in just a little more. There's only so much room - but mostly, its just that with the girls who've shown her movies, snuggling was part of the deal, even before any kind of romance came up.
