"Dinah, you're awesome for wanting to help. You are. But I can't teach Lian about being independent and making her own way if I take hand-outs. Besides, I /need/ to do this, not just for her or me, but to prove to Ollie that I can do it, too." Roy says.
"I didn't know you and Ollie were talkin' about kids at all. I hear he's got a new partner. You know anything about that?" Roy asks. He heard there's someone calling themselves Speedy these days, but he hasn't met said sidekick.
If Ollie trusted someone enough to bring them into the fold, there's isn't anything Roy can say about that. But he does want to make sure that this person is a good match for Ollie.
