"We'd be able to get the treats in the cupboard." She dropped the feather to be pounced on and picked up the smallest kitten to cuddle. The calico wiggled its way out of her hands and onto her shoulder where it tried to curl up under her hair.

"We'd be able to get all sorts of treats! Kittens are cute and everyone likes them and gives them treats." It'd be great to be a kitten, a magical kitten in their cases. Though the two young sorcerers did pretty well in the cute face to get out of trouble department.

Marlow sat up. "Let's be kittens for awhile! It'll be easy and we might even have an adventure!"

Martin propped himself up on his elbows and shot her an excited grin. "Let's! Show me how!" Transfigurations and the like (the intentional sort) were not his strong suit but he was always willing to learn. Especially from Marlow. "And we always have the best adventures, it's true."

Illusion magic are Marlow's greatest strength. Transfiguration was harder, but still within her skill. She could have made them appear to be kittens but it wouldn't have given them the full experience.

She didn't think this would be too hard. She had been practicing her strength and size spells to make herself more useful in a battle. Her results now were a long way from the time she managed to exchange bodies with Svalin.

She spoke the incantation aloud, slowly to exchange the appropriate elements. Small for large, kitten for Asgardian, soft and furry for strength. There was no flash of light, no snap, just a shimmer over Marlow that left a tiny calico kitten in her place.

Martin watched with great interest, this wasn't his area of expertise which only meant he paid even more attention. Marlow could do the things he struggled with so well, it was always great to watch.

When the little calico kitten was all that was standing there, Martin couldn't help but grin in delight. Marlow as an adorable kitten? How incredibly awesome was that? He reached out with his hat carefully in case Marlow kitten wanted a ride on top of it for adventure.

Kitten!Marlow batted at the hat brim when it approached, then leaped on it to climb to the top. She mrrhhed at Martin.

Martin couldn't help but giggle. "You're cute as a kitten Marlow." He carefully raised the hat to about shoulder height to let her pick. "Do you want shoulder ride or on top of the hat?" The best part was that Marlow was still Marlow and that meant leaking magic wasn't a big worry around her. So he didn't have to worry about kittens getting turned to other things. He hadn't yet considered how she'd turn back but...it'd wear off eventually.

Kitten!Marlow's claws dug into the hat and she shook her head from side to side. The view from the top hat would be great!

Martin nodded and placed the cat, kitten along with it, on top of his head. "You're right, the view would be much better," he replied as if she had said anything out loud and they were having a conversation. "Now first...finding kitty treats! You'll have to tell me how they taste later you know." He looked up at the kitten on his head and grinned before letting the levitating disc float them off to the kitchen slowly.

"But kittens can't eat pizza! I've never seen a kitten eat pizza..." He considered this as they floated to the kitchen. "Kitty treat pizza? Hmm, not really. We'll try and find both though."

The young mage with the kitten on his hat, floated into the kitchen and levitated up more to open the freezer telekinetically and look for pizza. "So we just stick it in the oven right? If you have any pizza here I mean..."

Kitten!Marlow let out an unhappy kitty mutter. She had no pizza. Pizza came from the pizza oven at the main house where one of the chefs would make it fresh.

She tried again and the cookie jar lid rattled. COOKIES!

No pizza? What was this? Maybe for the best, not like he knew how to make pizza...

He turned at the rattle to see the cookie jar making itself known. "Good idea! Cookies are always great," he nodded, the hat bobbing with him. The two floated over and the cookie jar lid moved out of the way as two cookies floated out, one flying up towards the kitten perched on his hat. "Mmm, maybe we should see the main house kitchen. Maybe the tiger is there so we can say hi."
