I know everyone was waiting with baited breath for my next puzzle, so here it is.

It's simple enough: make your puzzle look like this.

[OOC NOTE: The puzzle everyone will be playing is mixed up with the numbers out of order, and the object is to get the numbers in order, like the picture. HOWEVER, there is NO SOLUTION to the puzzle. Naruto purposely did this, aligning the numbers in an order that is unsolvable to stump everyone. Have fun. :|]

Interesting. Hope this isn't a failure like your last. There was no thought put into that at all.

You don't have to be rude. It wasn't a failure.

Puzzles are meant to be challenging. If there is no challenge, hence, it's a failure.

It's challenging to some people! Just because you're really good at puzzles doesn't mean he didn't put any thought into it.

As much as you have a fetish for this one, you should learn some manners to stay out of people's conversation.

A fetish?? Do you even know what that means?!

Obsession, fixation, propensity.

...No part of that word applies to anything involving me. Fine, I'm out of the conversation.

Six out of eleven entries made would state otherwise. Next time, refrain from making yourself known when your presence is not wanted. If I wish to talk to you, I would reply to you.

She was only standing up for a friend. You don't have to be so harsh.

For what reason may I ask? Did you take offense to what was said? I would think that as a creator of a game that is used for the purpose of entertaining others, you would be more than grateful for feedback from your higher skilled participants.

Your friend should stay out of issues that do not concern her.

I'm not offended, but I don't agree with you either. Sometimes it's a real challenge to make a puzzle at a certain difficulty level. I like making games everyone can play, so sometimes I put easier or harder puzzles in and it takes a lot of effort to gauge that.

Besides, I haven't made a puzzle yet that is at the highest difficulty level I could come up with.

Then stop playing down your skills for the basis of those who do not understand. You will never have it both ways, to have it at the level where all can understand. Puzzles are meant to stimulate the brain, open up to extra functionality. If you can go higher then bring the test forth or are you afraid that there may be people who can crack that just as easily?

I'm not afraid of that, I like raising the bar slowly to see how many people can keep up or where their cut-off point is.

Why do you make them?

I liked playing games as a kid, so I wanted to try my hand at making them.

Was it your goal to provide them to people? To test their capacity.

Not in the beginning. I always wanted others to play them, but only when people started complaining they were too hard did I get interested in playing around with the difficulty level.

Most people aren't like you and the handful of people who seem to have no problem with my games.

What is the ratio of people that can complete your puzzles over those who can not?

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

[info]microchipped

It varies at every difficulty and in every puzzle, but most who begin them don't beat them. Roughly, I'd say 3/4 people don't finish, and while 1/4 do finish it might take one person a day and it make take another a month.

Impressive by statistics. What will do you if someone completes it if you produce one at the highest level?
