If you pick the wrong letter, the issuer of the game draws the head of the person who will be hanging if you use up all your guesses. Guess amounts are equal to the amount of body parts you decide to give your hangman, that's why it's called 'Hangman'

It's very good for long boring lectures.

So you guess letters, and if you fail to guess a word, someone draws a man to be killed by means of hanging?

Do children play this game?

Yes that's it exactly! It's quite the brain teaser sometimes.

Of course! I suppose the words used are more juvenile and when I was younger I would add shoes and accessories for Rian when he couldn't guess my eight-letter words. They could be phrases too!

Yes, I'm sure accessorizing your corpse made the game much more fun.

I see your joke I think wizards' chess is more morbid than this. It makes you want to think and use your skills of deduction to save the poor man's life! All he wants for you is to have a good vocabulary, Donovan.

It worries me to think of what could happen if the person initiating the game is horrible at spelling. The poor sod wouldn't stand a chance.

YOU SHOULD GUESS

I'm not entirely sure if I want the fate of this stick man to rest in my hands.

I think you're just worried Danielle is going to beat you.

You got me. I'm terrified that my wife is going to best me in the most morbid word game I've ever come across. I don't think I could deal with the shame of losing, which is why to prevent the feelings of melancholia and bouts of self deprivation that would surely follow such a loss, I will keep from playing.

You could just tell me what this is all about.

Alright. I have a word game just for you. What starts with "W" and rhymes with "banker"?

Ah, see...this I prefer.

I can't be the only person turned off by the concept of this stupid game.

I'd much rather see you have this victory, sweets.
