What's the point in running another usernames claim when you didn't even complete the last one? :/

There were people who did what you said and requested those ten usernames, and after over a week of waiting, they got absolutely no confirmation e-mail. The e-mail you said you'd send to them with a "special password".

If you didn't finish or stick to the last one, it seems pointless to start a new one.

I think you should just delete all of the unvalidated one. Not only would it clear a lot of space, but it would solve the hoarding problem until people decided to do it again. Maybe have a monthly deletion or something for the unvalidated names.

I know that it's difficult with GreatestJournal going down and everybody flocking here, but since this is a new site a lot of good names aren't taken, so now everyone has a ton of them and it's making the site slow and sometimes it doesn't even load. I know that buying all the new shit you're getting will help, but it won't solve the problem completely.

I guess you missed the bold text that says:

No more requests will be accepted. If your request came after 12am then you're out of luck. Thanks everyone, we'll be sending out emails today to the people who got their requests in before 12am!

They did it before that. I guess you missed where I said "THERE WERE PEOPLE", and assumed that I meant myself. If you had noticed, I didn't request anything. I told you that some of the names were already validated.

Take your own advice and learn to read before commenting back.

Honestly, if you read the FAQ, the site wasn't even meant to be used by other people but for his own personal use. I just think you should be a little grateful he's decided to do anything to benefit the five jillion people that came over here.

as far as i saw, he replied to everyone that commented before he put up the note about when it ended. plus, he was the ONLY person that was doing that and he did it in a pretty speedy manner and was really nice about it, so if he skipped a few people, you can't hold that against him. why don't you let the people he skipped be the ones to come attack him about not finishing? obviously they don't care enough to come attack him over it, so why do you?

I think it's really important to remember that there's just one person running this website and that mistakes are bound to happen. I'm sure that had these people contacted him in some way that he would have rectified the situation. He's been extremely forthcoming with his contact information and really helpful when mistakes do happen after people have contacted him. Even just a simple comment with a problem on a news post would have sufficed.

If it's too much for one person to handle, then he should get more people on it. I understand that it might be hard for him, which is why I gave some suggestions. I didn't say anything rude to him until he replied with something even my third grade brother wouldn't say.
