Jerry techinically wasn't supposed to go teleporting off to places without his dad or at least his mom. But if you have that kind of ability why not use it to have a little fun and as long as he didn't get into too much trouble he knew his dad wouldn't get too mad about it if he found out. Beside Jerry really loved to travel to place that seemed neat or cool.
