The Character - History
Family Laurence Baker--A gentleman by birth; died from his opium addiction which left his daughters in a great deal of debt.
Beatrice Baker-- died in childbirth when Catherine was born.
Anne Baker-- elder sister; Catherine looks up to her quite a bit.
Education Considering she was born into a privileged life, Catherine was tutored by a governess for many years. She's quite gifted at the piano, knows quite a bit of conversational French and pieces of Latin, is knowledgeable in many dances, and can draw at a sub-par level.
Social Status A born (and slightly bred) gentlewoman-- that isn't exactly her class now, however. When her father died, he left his daughters in a lot of debt and, thusly, Catherine (and subsequently her sister Anne) have relied mostly on their own means within the charity of the neighbourhood. (Rather degrading, if you ask Catherine).

name: Kara Zor-El is her birth name. Of course, since it's not exactly a normal name (and Kara truly wants to be normal and blend in as much as she can), she's known to most everyone as Clare Danvers.
character basis: Supergirl
age/birthday: 21 / December 5th, 1987.

affiliation: Part of The Wonderkids training program.
information: Kara Zor-El never knew the wonders of Krypton. Three years after it had been destroyed, those who were left formed a colony out in the stars; Kara was one of the first children born. Her parents, Zor-El and In-Ze were pleased to have their first child and doted upon the young Kara as she was growing up, or at least as much as they could as the colony tried to rebuild what they'd had back on their home planet. They named their new colony Argo City and their lives were content for quite some time.
