Kari

The cold-hearted killing machine, Kari's not one for feelings and sharing stuff about them with anyone else. She's afraid of getting to close to someone only to see them destroyed by something she can't stop and is basically only close to her sister, Star, whom she'd give her life. A warrior of the universe, she'd do anything that her Empress ordered, though she manages to learn the truth behind everything she was ever taught, coming to question her reasons for keeping people out and her own reasons for killing without a thought.

Star

The younger of the two, Star is filled with life, love, and a light that never seems to go out. She was the favorite child of their father, though she was constantly clinging to her sister's side through childhood regardless of any ill feelings that could have formed between them. She's a decent warrior, not much for fighting as she would rather handle things in a diplomatic fashion rather than resorting to violence. Her lover is Star Knight Sirius, with whom she has complete and total trust in.

Sirius

Ever-constant in his ways, Star Knight Sirius is, well, serious in his duties to the Empress and to his own will that he follows without question. He has his head set firmly on his shoulders and thinks like a soldier in almost any situation that's thrown his way. In love with Star since she joined the Empress, he cherishes her and would die to keep the light within her safe.

Empress Risa Opale

The leader of her Senshi, Opale is made of twisted metal and cold stars colliding amongst one another. She is ruthless in her tactics and has spent years preening her chosen warrior, Kari, into what she calls a 'killing machine of war who will do exactly as I say'. There's a darkness to her that few see until it's too late, until it finally swallows them whole and leaves nothing in return.

Apprentice Priest Kou

His destiny wasn't supposed to be anything grand but, once he made his choice to aide Kari, he changed time forever for him. Quiet, slightly sarcastic, and slightly lovable, Kou didn't know what he had gotten himself into when he took Kari from the battle, saving her and following along on a path that led to a greater destiny, but he did it without question, something he never thought he'd do. It's his heart that saves them, his heart that gives unconditionally to cure the light of the dark.

Hikari

Her memories of Dionysus have always been dim, but her father would constantly tell stories to the girl of her mother, the great Queen who changed time, and of her father, who followed her into the darkness with her as their guiding light. Hikari is a kind soul, easy to laugh, easy to cry, and easy to love. There's a gentle spirit in her, though there's also a temper that comes to the surface if she's pushed enough.

Isamu

The older of Star and Sirius' twin children, Isamu was the friendly one who liked to make jokes and sarcastic comments, even when they weren't appropriate; especially when they were inappropriate, to be precise. He went into the Dionysus Army like his father had, rising up in the ranks and proving that he was more than simply a barrel of laughs at the dinner table, showing he could handle a weapon well and actually do something productive.

Shinju

Serious, studious, and incredibly prepared for anything, Shinju is the younger twin. She's always ready, always organised, and alway seems to be prepared for the worst situations when they come up. She enjoys taking her time with things, looking through them to figure out how everything works and, in essence, how the universe ticks along. She's got an inquisitive mind and it's no wonder that she's in line for the throne once her aunt passes the title down to her-- with Shinju on the throne, the planet of Dionysus would be prepared for anything.
