this is what i keep saying. i think it's hilarious that people are jumping ship because "ohnoes, i couldn't get on my journal 24 hours a day for 2 days!" the damn site has been down for something like a total of 10 hours over the course of two days. it's not that bad.

all of the servers for my entire college's network system, including the library catalogue, are down today. they're staffed by a team of 15+ trained technicians and people need them for their assessments.

i am wary of ~assistants. a lot of the first holds last night already had people friended, lines together and directories/credits figured out as soon as the journal was pimped. that makes me believe they're friends of the mod and will be cliquey as hell.

i've been studying dance since the age of four and while i love that black swan has put the spotlight on ballet, it irks me to see the movie being hyped so much. and also, people playing ballerinas more so now? i'm like sit down.

okay anons seriously it has been over 4 years since gj died, and the reason it died was the exact OPPOSITE reason ij was down for two days. if you're really going to jump ship because of that, be sure to delete your journals before you go to help the site out a bit.
