a combination of icons/un/writing style. someone who thinks by clinging to their own ways that it makes them superior and don't understand why others won't write with them. poor writing skills in general that are clearly not a character choice.

basically i think of it like this; in other situations where you want to fit in/be accepted you tend to try to groom yourself to appear to be the same as those already taking part in it. by following "trends" you show you're able to keep up with how things are done which comforts others into letting you be around them. by bucking the system you seem unstable or unknowing so very few people want to give you a chance.

This is the most understandable answer I've ever seen.

Well done, nonny.

i feel like this is what a lot of anons mean when they use the term critter, but they use it too loosely. just because someone is using a pb you want to use or you don't like doesn't make them a critter. however someone using a pb you adore but ruining their image with horrible icons* and a poorly written character does.

*i don't mean "oh it's too sharp/too soft" sort of icons. i'm talking about it's just at a funky angle all together doesn't look like it shows anything of importance, etc

wow, the most bullshit answer to explain this completely superficial ij hierarchy.

icons/usernames =/= bad writers. certain ij rpers do things differently so it's hilarious that you're adding in some bullshit ~psychology~ to make this seem credible. bad writers exist everywhere, whether you crop your icons from eyebrow to vag or photoshop them to hell.
