Test Scene

Bruce sat in his chair, with Ace resting on the floor by his side. He called Terry in earlier to get a report on how things were going with Marissa. He also had a little surprise for Batman.

	Bruce gave Terry his usual grim stare, with the slightest annoyance to being called by his first name. Old men don't get used to that. Ace perked up his head at Terry, gave a look, and then lied it back down. "I want an update on Robin." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He's been calling Bruce by his first name ever since he first picked up the Batman mantle. Whatever annoyance he has left at him about it, Terry just won't pay attention to it. "Marissa? She's doing good. Things were a little bit rocky at first, but she's getting the hang of it." He crouched down to scratch behind Ace's ears. "She took off to Star City, a couple of days ago. Though you knew about that."

	He put his hands together and rested his chin on them, still wearing that grim expression. "I do," he replied. "She's gone to see Tim Drake. I have no doubt she'll find Queen's kid to spite me, too." But he had a surprise for her, too. Just wait until she got back home. "What do you plan to do about it?" Quiz time. 	Terry sighed. He should have been expecting this. Bruce wanted him to take control of the situation. Though as long as Marissa didn't tell Tim who was...he had no problem with her going off. "Didn't know she was seeing him for training. I've got nothing against it. Long as she keeps her mouth shut and doesn't say anything about me, I'm fine." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Bruce eyed Terry as he digested the answer. He was in absolute agreement that nobody else should know Terry's identity, but he was slightly disappointed by the lack of motivation to take control. He sighed and then said, "Make sure she knows that."

He got up from his chair and walked in front of the high tech computer screen. A cane supported his weight while he stood and looked at the information he had pulled up on a few local criminals in Gotham. "Tomorrow you're going to go through another training session."

He looked down at Ace.

"Oh, and Ace needs to go for a walk."

The dog perked his head up, and then got fully up. He knew the drill.
