Swinging about town
He'd been really good all day. Ben had managed to mostly pay attention in class, even participated once, gone straight home the normal way and pretty much finished his homework (though mom probably knew he'd lied about being done) all before asking to go out webslinging again. Best behavior meant feeling terribly cooped up but it was worth it for finally being free to swing around town and fight crime for a bit.

So Ben gets his spider threads on and is out the window, already grinning goofily under that mask. Yeah, this was pretty sweet. Now to see if he could find something to do. If not he was going to try and beat his record for number of flips off the Empire State Building.

Ryan finished up his work at the Natural History Museum. It was fun work for him to do to keep busy even if the paleontology department still hadn't forgive him for some of his antics when he was younger.

He was now going on a patrol of the streets checking up on some leads about the latest things Rose Red was up to. Free-running across the rooftops to get to place to place really was liberating for him as he went.

	And straight over the rooftop he's running on, a figure goes flying. Well, not quite flying, it looks like he's been flung more than anything. "Whooo!" A backflip and then another web line goes shooting out to swing him to the next building. It doesn't seem he's noticed Ryan yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Well that was kind of unexpected to see some one flipping around in the air like the Ryan. He didn't think Spider-man was still active anymore. But hey this was New York and he had heard and seen crazier things happen. Still seemed like it would be a good idea to try and follow him and see what this guy really was like. Ben is blissfully happy now and finally feeling free as a bird after being cooped up all day. He's going to take advantage of his chance to do more crazy flips in the air before he had to call it quits for the day. Down the street, he swings to the side of a building and plants his feet, walking up the vertical plane like it was an everyday stroll.

Nope, no signs of mugging on the street here. Maybe another hero had been here first...

	"Looks like someone has been having a lot of fun," Ryan says spidy-guy standing on a fire escape and leaning out to talk. "Oh! Hey! Sorry, is this you neighborhood? Was just swinging through to see if anything needed doing and...okay for fun too," he says and waves at Ryan with feet still planted on the side of the building. "But seriously man, this is a blast. Sorry if I'm stepping on toes or something I didn't know that..." He looks at Ryan and pauses because there's no real costume on the guy, just street gear and sunglasses. "Umm...well I don't know what you go by I'm afraid. Help a guy out here?"

"It's a niche thing, I'm bringing it back in style now," he grinned under the mask. "Cool, Spectre it is then. As for me...guess away, maybe I did change the name. But then again, maybe I didn't! But not Webbed Menace or anything please, I've managed to go against the grain and escape bad press so far, don't want to start that so early." As he chats, Ben walks up the fire escape until he's standing atop the railing on Ryan's level, balancing as if it was nothing. "So...uh, need any help on that checking something out bit? I'm free."

"Could be way worse. I mean, they could call you Casper or something. That'd be an even weirder TV show. Hey, ever wonder about the Rhino costume? I mean, you'd feel silly in it but it must suck for getting through doorways. Think of how many times he's gotten his head stuck in a door frame because of those horns."

"Well I am a rather friendly neighborhood ghost," Ryan says smirking, "Tell me about it I still don't get some of the stuff on MTV and why the channel just doesn't change it's name. I think that's why the Rhino doesn't usually use doors and just runs through the wall instead."

"OK then," Ryan says as he jumps over the edge of the fire escape firing a grapple from his Truncheon to pull himself back up to the rooftops.

"As long as they don't call us The Friendly Neighbors. Too Mr. Rogers and the sweaters." Ben gasps in agreement and gestures. "I know right?! I think they realize everyone's just watching their music videos online and stuff. But they can keep the MTV name, just change it to Mindless TV so we don't have all that false advertising with the name. But the Rhino's probably had buildings fall on him because of that, you take out enough structural support and that happens. Could be a cool way to beat him."

Ben jumps after Ryan and shoots a web line out and swings after him. "So seriously, Friendly Neighborhooders is out I think. What about...man there are no cool names for friendly guys out there."

"Worse people to have a name associated with than Mr. Rodgers. Jersey Shore comes pretty fast to mind," Ryan says as he pulls himself on top of the roof and starts running. Mindless One TV more like it."

"Definitely one of the best tactical ways to be Rhino," Ryan says, "Though hitting him in the face a lot works to in a pinch."

"No there really are not. Maybe Two Cool Bros."

"Rhino is pretty tough, better let a wall do the hitting than your hand. Then after all those walls have softened him up, come in with a haymaker."
